Online Bible Study and Prayer Outreach (OBSPO), is where we pray with the word of God. Prayer Point is taking a scripture from the word of God, believe it, declare it and stand on it in prayer.
Developing your mind around God's word produces faith, which in return leads to God's will (Romans 12:2).
OBSPO Prayer Point is a section of OBSPO ministries. Prayer Points are necessary for those who seek to improve in their prayer life and those who need deliverance in some area of their lives.
Psalms 34:17 says; "- [The righteous] cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles."
Referring to the scripture in Hebrews 13:5-6; "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
To explain this:
Verse 5b says "for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" and verse 6 says, "so that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me".
You boldly say because God has said, this is declaring and confessing God's word.
Praying with God's word is alike.
Psalms 50:15 says; "- And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me."
Prayer Point from the above scripture: Father, I call upon you this day, I pray that every trouble in my life will be destroyed by the blood of Jesus.
Online Bible Study and Prayer Outreach group organizes periodic prayer and fasting for spiritual growth.
Why do we fast?
To fast is to go without food and drink voluntarily for a certain period of time. Fasting combined with sincere prayer can help you prepare yourself and others to receive God’s blessings. It is a source of spiritual strength. Through fasting, we can feel closer to Heavenly Father and strengthen our testimony.
There is no such thing as a fast without prayer, It can be also known as starving. While fasting is not necessary for salvation it is essential in your Christian walk of faith and highly recommended, in fact Jesus expects us to fast.
It will help you have a more intimate relationship with Christ. It will help you overcome sin, bad habits, and help open your eyes to things that are displeasing to God in your life. Fasting and prayer is a time to separate yourself from your regular patterns and from things of the world and come closer to the Lord.
There are so many benefits and reasons for fasting and so many ways to do it. I challenge you today to fast. Don’t do it to try to brag and appear spiritual. Make sure your motives are right and do it to the glory of God. Humble yourself before the Lord and commit yourself to him.
Are you born again?
A person who has been born again, or regenerated, does not habitually commit sin. He no longer sins with his heart and will and whole inclination. There was probably a time when he did not think about whether his actions were sinful or not, and he did not always feel grieved after doing evil. There was no quarrel between him and sin; they were friends. But the true Christian hates sin, flees from it, fights against it, considers it his greatest plague, resents the burden of its presence, mourns when he falls under its influence, and longs to be completely delivered from it. Sin no longer pleases him, nor is it even a matter of indifference to him; it has become a horrible thing which he hates. However, he cannot eliminate its presence within him. (1 John 1:8-9)

HOW TO PRAY?
God the Father is supreme, he created the heavens and the earth (Gen. 1). When we pray, we pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus, God the Son, and his manifestation comes to us through God the Holy Spirit.
So we pray to the FATHER in the name of JESUS. Jesus said in John 16:23; "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you".
Therefore, we give glory to the Father, the Son(JESUS) and the Holy Spirit but we pray to the Father in the name of Jesus.
Prayer:
Dear Father, we thank you for Jesus and we pray that you give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowledge of you. We pray that the eyes of our understanding be enlightened and we commit our whole being into your mighty hands in Jesus name!
How to pray Effectively.
Prayer doesn’t need to be a ritual or a habit. Prayer should change us, silence us, and be the pursuit of a continual communication with the Lord. Pray to God not just in times of trouble, but as a continual journey.
James 4:3 says that “You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.” Approach the Lord with confidence to receive mercy, grace and forgiveness, and pray for help. He desires us to come to him, daily.
Make time to pray alone. This means unplug from any media, technology, and away from others. Be honest with God. You won’t be able to hide it anyway, so be real during prayer. It is a two-way relationship, and Jesus is always interceding on our behalf.
BE PATIENT
God is pleased with those who believe and trust him, the bible says in Hebrews 11:6; "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
We must believe that "he is"; meaning that he exist. If we truly "know" that he exist, then we can trust him with all our heart. If we trust him, it will produce hope, and hope sustained leads to patience. As the bible says in Psalm 25:3; "No one who hopes on the Lord will ever be put to shame".
Job trusted God and his situation changed. He said in the book of Job 23:10; "But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold". Today, as you are going through that situation, it is an opportunity for you to "COME OUT AS GOLD". Your finances will come out as gold, your job will come out as gold, your ministry will come out as gold, you marriage will come out as gold, you name it!
All you need is "Patience" as you wait on God and you will have a testimony.
