Effective Prayer

Prayer doesn’t need to be a ritual or a habit. Prayer  should  change us, silence us, and be the pursuit of a continual communication with the Lord. Pray to God not just in times of trouble, but as a continual journey.

James 4:3 says that “You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.” Approach the Lord with confidence to receive mercy, grace and forgiveness, and pray for help. He desires us to come to him, daily.

Make time to pray alone. This means unplug from any media, technology, and away from others. Be honest with God. You won’t be able to hide it anyway, so be real during prayer. It is a two-way relationship, and Jesus is always interceding on our behalf.

Prayer
Dear Father, We thank you for these words, we come to you today with our heart full of expectations, let our fellowship with you renew our mind and let your will be accomplished in our lives in Jesus name!

PRAYER POINTS FOR DIVINE PROTECTION

MID-FEBRUARY PRAYER AND FASTING (DAY 1) Divine protection comes from God, the maker of heaven and earth. Those who look elsewhere for divine protection have gone astray. This prayer of divine protection is bible based. It is a compilation of God’s promises in the scripture to serve as a protection for his children. For example, this is what the scripture says in Psalm 121:1-8: "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore." Are you in imminent danger?...

PRAYER POINTS FOR DIVINE PROVISION

MID-FEBRUARY PRAYER AND FASTING (DAY 2) Divine Provision is the supernatural supply that comes from God. You can experience God’s superabundant provision in every area of life. In the scripture, we find it written that God has great plans for us and I personally do not think that lack and insufficiency will make a good definition of great plans. Jeremiah 29:11 says; "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."(NIV). Never for once think that a God that takes good pleasure in giving good gifts unto His children will contradict Himself by willing a life of nakedness and want for His children. No! That cannot be the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the bible.
