PRAYER FOR DIVINE FAVOR

Favor is an act performed out of good will, generosity, or mercy. An approving attitude. Divine favor makes the difference in our everyday life. If the Lord favors you, many things in your life will become easy. The word of God does not come void, so if we start praying and decreeing His word, favor will pursue us and overtake us in Jesus name.

The favor of God can be described as “tangible evidence that a person has the approval of the Lord.” When we favor someone, we want to be with him or her. We delight in him/her. We connect with him/her in a way we don’t connect with everyone else. We usually favor people who also favor us. In the same way, God shows favor to the ones who delight in, connect with, and give honor to Him. Isaiah 66:2 says, “These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.” 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong on behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” To be “perfect” toward Him means we seek His favor more than we seek the favor of anyone else, even ourselves.

 Gen 39:21; "But the Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison."

Exodus 11:3; "And the Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people."

Deuteronomy 33:23; "And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full with the blessing of the Lord: possess thou the west and the south."

Proverbs 8:35; "For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD."

Psalm 5:12; "For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield."

Proverbs 3:4; "So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man."

Luke 1:30; "And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God."

Luke 2:52; "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man."

1 Samuel 2: 26; "And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favor both with the Lord and also with men."

1 Samuel 16:22; "And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favor in my sight."

Nehemiah 2:5; "And I said unto the king, If it pleases the king, and if thy servant has found favor in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers’ sepulchers, that I may build it."

Esther 5:2; "And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favor in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre."

PRAYER POINT

 1. Oh God arise and show me mercy and favor in ministry, business, marriage, etc in Jesus name!

2. As you clothe the children of Israel with favor in Egypt clothe me with favor so heathens can bless me in the name of Jesus!

3. Give me favor in the sight of men, give my ministry favor in the sight of men, give my business favor in the sight of customers in Jesus name!

4. Satisfy me Lord with favor and fill me with blessing in the name of Jesus!

5. I receive favor with God and with man in everything I do in the name of Jesus!

6. My father, give me favor with kings and great men of this world in Jesus name!

7. Oh God arise and encompass me with favor as with a shield in the name of Jesus!

8. O Lord, give me the spirit of favor in all my business transactions in Jesus’ name!

9. In the mighty name of Jesus, I claim…. (pick from the following)
- divine favor
- abundant prosperity
- divine wisdom
- increased sales and expanded markets
- new product ideas
- new service delivery concepts
- divine helpers
- the release of finances

10. O' LORD, by all the power for which you are known to be God, let my prosperity appear in the name of Jesus!

In the scripture, we find it written that God has great plans for us and I personally do not think that lack and insufficiency will make a good definition of great plans. Jeremiah 29:11 says; "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."(NIV).
