MID-JANUARY GROUP PRAYER AND FASTING (DAY 1)

1 Timothy 2:1; "I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior" (NLT)

The bible says that it is pleasing in the sight of God when we pray for other people. If you focus so much on yourself when you pray, God is not pleased with it, even we humans see it as selfishness when someone is so personal about everything.

Be encouraged to pray for those in need, for family, for nations, for ministries, for lost souls and God will meet you at your needs.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:8; "Don't be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!(NLT).

Stop requesting over and over, intercede for someone and God will meet
you at your need.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your love. I pray for the strength to intercede for others in prayers. I decree and declare that my prayer will please God and will produce a great reward for me in Jesus mighty name! Amen!

PRAYER POINTS FOR DIVINE PROMOTION

Promotion is an advancement in rank or position. Everyone needs to desire promotion. It is a gift from God. Bible says in Psalm 75:6-7; "For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another." As believers, we have to look unto God for our promotion not neglecting hard work, as promotion is a reward. However, due to high competition in the world today and in some fields of job or operations, some people are denied their rights to promotion but as you pray this prayer along, the God of justice will restore you or catapult you to your deserved/desired level in life. Also, ask God to forgive those who have sinned against you and claim your righteousness in Christ. Thank God for his protection.
