PRAYER AGAINST FEAR

What is Fear? Fear is an unpleasant emotion or thought. It is the feeling you get when you are afraid or worried that something bad is going to happen. The feeling of fear has to be one of the greatest impediments to human progress. It is the unfounded fear that is within you that is undermining your confidence, determining who you are, and jeopardizing all your real hopes of success in Christ Jesus. Fear can be real or imaginary, and you experience it because of your perception or misjudgment of a situation. It causes you to feel anxiety, insecurity, and a complete lack of positive feeling. There's a growing tendency for you to become hesitant or procrastinate. You are not able to think sensibly or logically. Fear imposes limitations upon your potentials and ability, and in the process ruins your relationships with God and with others. If you permit your mind to habitually dwell on countless negative thoughts, the resultant will be fear. The fear is just as numerous. You...

PRAYER FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Growth is improvement or development towards maturity. When someone is born again, as a child of God you are like babies in Christ and you are expected to grow. Babies are immature physically and mentally, but we expect them to develop and grow, if they don't, then there is a problem. The body of Christ is also expected to grow as individual members mature, it leads to the congregation becoming mature. Ephesians 4:14-15; "Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church." BE PATIENT

God is pleased with those who believe and trust him, the bible says in Hebrews 11:6; "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." We must believe that "he is"; meaning that he exist. If we truly "know" that he exist, then we can trust him with all our heart. If we trust him, it will produce hope, and hope sustained leads to patience. As the bible says in Psalm 25:3; "No one who hopes on the Lord will ever be put to shame". Job trusted God and his situation changed. He said in the book of Job 23:10; "But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold". Today, as you are going through that situation, it is an opportunity for you to "COME OUT AS GOLD". Your finances will come out as gold, your job will come out as gold, your ministry will come out as gold, you marriage will c...

Effective Prayer

Prayer doesn’t need to be a ritual or a habit. Prayer  should  change us, silence us, and be the pursuit of a continual communication with the Lord. Pray to God not just in times of trouble, but as a continual journey. James 4:3 says that “You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.” Approach the Lord with confidence to receive mercy, grace and forgiveness, and pray for help. He desires us to come to him, daily. Make time to pray alone. This means unplug from any media, technology, and away from others. Be honest with God. You won’t be able to hide it anyway, so be real during prayer. It is a two-way relationship, and Jesus is always interceding on our behalf. Prayer Dear Father, We thank you for these words, we come to you today with our heart full of expectations, let our fellowship with you renew our mind and let your will be accomplished in our lives in Jesus name!
