PRAYER POINTS FOR DIVINE PROTECTION

MID-FEBRUARY PRAYER AND FASTING (DAY 1) Divine protection comes from God, the maker of heaven and earth. Those who look elsewhere for divine protection have gone astray. This prayer of divine protection is bible based. It is a compilation of God’s promises in the scripture to serve as a protection for his children. For example, this is what the scripture says in Psalm 121:1-8: "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore." Are you in imminent danger?

PRAYER FOR DIVINE FAVOR

PRAYER FOR DIVINE FAVOR Favor is an act performed out of good will, generosity, or mercy. An approving attitude. Divine favor makes the difference in our everyday life. If the Lord favors you, many things in your life will become easy. The word of God does not come void, so if we start praying and decreeing His word, favor will pursue us and overtake us in Jesus name. The favor of God can be described as “tangible evidence that a person has the approval of the Lord.” When we favor someone, we want to be with him or her. We delight in him/her. We connect with him/her in a way we don’t connect with everyone else. We usually favor people who also favor us. In the same way, God shows favor to the ones who delight in, connect with, and give honor to Him. Isaiah 66:2 says, “These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.” 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show

PRAYER POINTS FOR BREAKING BAD HABITS

MID-JANUARY GROUP PRAYER AND FASTING.(DAY 3) THE PEACE OF GOD WILL GUARD YOUR HEART. Philippians 4:6-7; "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication  with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.(ESV) Your heart is a very vital part of your body. Just like the heart is the center of operation of  human life in respect to blood flow, so is the heart the center of the total personality in respect  to feelings, intuition and emotion. The heart is important to the devil just as the heart is important to God. When you worry, you  expose your heart to vices of the devil, wrong thoughts, wrong emotions and wrong feelings finds a  way into your heart and gives the devil a chance to operate in your life. Bible says in Proverbs 4:23; "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the co

PRAYER POINTS FOR HEALING.

MID-JANUARY GROUP PRAYER AND FASTING.(DAY 2) RECEIVE HEALING THROUGH GOD'S WORD Psalm 107:19-20; "Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction."(ESV) The scripture above says in verse 20; that the word of God heals us from sickness and diseases, it also delivers us from trouble and destruction. You can imagine how vital the word of God is. It is food to the spirit, energizing us for a victorious life in Christ Jesus. That is why the scripture says in Hebrews 4:12; "For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.(NLT) Every other weapon may cut or destroy the flesh and whole body but only the word of God can penetrate to cutting between soul and spirit. The word of God is so m

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER

MID-JANUARY GROUP PRAYER AND FASTING (DAY 1) 1 Timothy 2:1; "I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior" (NLT) The bible says that it is pleasing in the sight of God when we pray for other people. If you focus so much on yourself when you pray, God is not pleased with it, even we humans see it as selfishness when someone is so personal about everything. Be encouraged to pray for those in need, for family, for nations, for ministries, for lost souls and God will meet you at your needs. Jesus said in Matthew 6:8; "Don't be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!(NLT). Stop requesting over and over, intercede for someone and God will meet you at your need. PRAYER Dear

PRAYER AGAINST FEAR

What is Fear? Fear is an unpleasant emotion or thought. It is the feeling you get when you are afraid or worried that something bad is going to happen. The feeling of fear has to be one of the greatest impediments to human progress. It is the unfounded fear that is within you that is undermining your confidence, determining who you are, and jeopardizing all your real hopes of success in Christ Jesus. Fear can be real or imaginary, and you experience it because of your perception or misjudgment of a situation. It causes you to feel anxiety, insecurity, and a complete lack of positive feeling. There's a growing tendency for you to become hesitant or procrastinate. You are not able to think sensibly or logically. Fear imposes limitations upon your potentials and ability, and in the process ruins your relationships with God and with others. If you permit your mind to habitually dwell on countless negative thoughts, the resultant will be fear. The fear is just as numerous. You

PRAYER FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Growth is improvement or development towards maturity. When someone is born again, as a child of God you are like babies in Christ and you are expected to grow. Babies are immature physically and mentally, but we expect them to develop and grow, if they don't, then there is a problem. The body of Christ is also expected to grow as individual members mature, it leads to the congregation becoming mature. Ephesians 4:14-15; "Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church."
